I need help with chemistry and bonding! i need to know how to identify metallic/hydrogen/covalent/pol… bonds?

i know about electronegativity difference but my teacher is going to give examples of elements and have us say what type of bond each element has. and sometimes we will have to say if it is mainly vander walls forces
