Stupid Physics question about sound and space.?

Ok this is totally dumb, but a friend and I are having a debate regarding space and soundwaves. Scenario: A huge asteroid is heading towards earth and a person grows to 10 miles in height / size. He then proceeds to stick his giant head past the stratosphere and shrieks like a wild pig at 100,000 decibals directly at the incoming asteroid. Would this be able to destroy the asteroid? I know some soundwaves do travel in space but do not know the mechanics of it. I ume the giant human would have to grab a big breath prior to sticking his head into space and squeeling?
