Itunes music problem i need to get help with..........................…

Alright, snowboard season is comeing up and I found some songs by puddle of mudd and metallica and so on that i would like to get on my ipod. My brother knows how to download them online for free and wont show me how to because he is gay, so anyone who know how to could you help me out?
