Do girls have an attraction towards street bikers?

I was wondering if most girls have some sort of attraction toward street bikes? Every time I ride my Yamaha r1 there is always a girl or a group of girls that like to start honking or following me in Traffic, they stare when im at a light or when at a gas stations they tend to ask questions about the bike. Don't get me wrong I like the attention most of the time except when the follow me real close. Then there is another group that kinda gives you a look like you must be really dumb to be riding or doesn't care for bikes. whats your opinion on this?
