Help.. printer cuts off the edges of printed doents ?

What can i do to stop my printer from cutting off the edges of doents i print from web pages? I' ve tried everything from scaling the pages to a smaller size in my printer's properties dialog box to printing the printable version of the page that they have available and i even bought another more expensive printer ,but that didnt help. Nothing works. Can anyone give me any useful things i can do to fix this problem.
